Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War First Impressions
Treyarch has done it again!
A new Call of Duty title is upon us, and it is time to rejoice, as we no longer have to play the sweat fest known as Modern Warfare! Treyarch is back in full swing as they have just released their newest Call of Duty title, Black Ops Cold War. After only having a year and a half to develop a follow-up to the ever-popular Blacks Ops 1 title, Treyarch delivers in what I can only explain as one of Treyarch’s best games yet.
Upon booting up the game, I feel like I am back in what I consider to be my “good ‘Ole days,” the days of Black Ops 2. Despite being on two totally different generations of consoles, I still get the feeling of joy that I got with Treyarch’s second Black Ops title. Granted, back then, there was really no sign of skill-based matchmaking like there is today, but the happiness that I feel during this iteration of Black Ops remains the same. As I carry on writing, I thought I would give a few thoughts on how I felt about this title in many categories.
The graphics of this new title feel like a major upgrade to years past. This is expected, of course, as we have introduced a new generation of consoles simultaneously as this game’s launch. Everything looks very smooth with little to no rendering issues and quite realistic compared to other Black Ops games.
