Black Ops Cold War’s Big Camo Issue

How one glitch can cause fans to drop off if not attended to.

Every year in the Call of Duty franchise, developers create many weapon camo challenges for players to grind through. These camos are used to decorate your guns and more or less “flex” to show how much of a grind you have been on since the game’s release. Usually, there is one camo everyone aims for in any Call of Duty game (per the last few years). That being the highly coveted Dark Matter camo, which is unlocked after every weapon camo challenge has been completed with each weapon. This can take a lot of a player's time but can be worth it depending on the design of that year's version of the Dark Matter camo.

With the release of Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War, a new version of the Dark Matter camo was released. This year’s version was dubbed “Dark Matter Ultra,” which you will see below.

Right now, it seems that everyone and their brother (including myself) are willing to grind out every weapon challenge in the hopes of saying that they have unlocked the Dark Matter Ultra camo. There is only one problem, though: a bug has reset camo challenges for any given weapon, more than once.
